Rotary Global Grants enable clubs to collaborate on large-scale, sustainable projects that address pressing needs in communities around the world. These grants provide funding for initiatives in areas such as health, water and sanitation, education, peacebuilding, and economic development. Our district has proudly participated in several impactful Global Grant projects. Among them is the “Breath to Life” project, which supplied neonatal ventilators to hospitals in Guatemala. This life-saving equipment is designed to assist newborns suffering from respiratory distress syndrome—a leading cause of infant mortality in developing countries. Another recent initiative saw the Global Grants Committee help bring safe drinking water to underserved communities in India.
