The Rotary Club of Auburn is committed to its mission of Ending Homelessness Now. Recognizing that homelessness affects communities both locally and globally, the club is following the example of Rotary’s founder, Paul Harris, by working to uplift every individual in need. Their belief is simple but powerful: stronger support for those experiencing homelessness will lead to healthier communities for everyone.
As part of this effort, the Auburn Rotary Club will host a fundraiser BBQ Chicken Dinner on Saturday, October 4th at the Sennett Fire Hall. The event will not only raise funds but also create space for an open forum where community members can exchange ideas and explore grassroots solutions to this complex issue. Guests will have the chance to connect with inspiring people and hear stories of resilience and progress, both from Cayuga County and as far away as Kampala, Uganda.
All proceeds from the dinner will directly support Safe and Warm and Benjamin House, two organizations dedicated to addressing
homelessness locally and internationally.
Community members are encouraged to attend and be part of this important cause. For those unable to join on October 4th, the Auburn
Rotary Club welcomes participation in other ways and invites individuals to consider what action they can take to help.
