Kat Koppett is the Eponymous Founder of Koppett. a consultancy specializing in the use of improv and storytelling techniques to enhance individual and group performance. She is the author of Training to Imagine: Improvisational Techniques for Leaders and Educators to Enhance Creativity, Teamwork and Learning, and the co-author of The Facilitation Advantage with Therese Miclot. Her diverse client list includes Apple, Prezi, PwC, NASA, Global Giving, and the U.N. In 2019, she received the Capital Region Chamber’s Women @ Work Women of Excellence and NASAGA’s Ifill-Raynolds Lifetime Achievement Award. She is a founding member of the Applied Improvisation Network, the co-director of The Mopco Improv Theatre, and a member of Albany Mosaic Rotary. Kat believes that everyone deserves to be seen, heard and valued, and is on a mission to provide those opportunities to as many people as possible.
Bruce Goldsen

Bruce will help us wrap up the message of the day as our dinner keynote
Bruce Goldsen is a 36-year Rotarian, Past District Governor (2008–09, District 6400), and current Zones 28 & 32 Communications Chair. Alongside his wife and fellow Rotarian Sue, he co-owns Goldsen Media Strategies after a four-decade career in radio broadcasting, including 23 years as owner-operator of four Michigan stations.
A dedicated Rotary leader, Bruce has served as a training leader at the International Assembly, President’s Representative at district conferences worldwide, and chair or facilitator for numerous Rotary initiatives, including Youth Exchange programs and international service projects in Ghana, India, and El Salvador. He has held multiple leadership roles at the district and international levels and will serve as District 7980 Rotary Foundation Committee Chair (2026–2029).
Bruce and Sue are Arch Klumph Society, Paul Harris Society, and Bequest Society members, and both are recipients of Rotary International’s Service Above Self Award. They enjoy time with their son David, daughter-in-law Nikki, and grandchildren Avery and Jesse.
