Happy New Year to all Rotary members across CNY. We welcome the 2026-27 year with the presidential theme of Create Lasting Impact by inviting all members to consider new leadership opportunities for all experience levels and in all aspects of Rotary service.

Serving on a CNY Rotary committee:

  • Gets you meeting new people from around the region
  • Creates opportunities for deeper learning on subjects you might already be passionate about like peace, graphic design, event planning, and more
  • Is rewarding because you get to serve fellow members in ways that strengthen our clubs and increase our impact
  • Benefits your club as you bring back more knowledge and understanding of our organization

Clubs with members who volunteer at the district level tend to be healthier because they are more connected to the resources that help them thrive.

All Experience Welcome

While we are looking to fill some chair positions with more experienced leaders, there are opportunities for any member to get involved no matter how long you have been in Rotary, whether or not you have led your club or if you have ever served on a district committee before. We encourage all to take a look at the job listings link below to see where their skills might be most needed or, better yet, where they will have the most fun.

Help Us Realize the CNY Vision

When leaders set out to unify three districts into CNY Rotary, a big part of that transition was designing committees equipped to serve our larger region of more than 100 clubs. The many members who helped construct these new teams were thoughtful about what our diverse group of clubs would need to succeed, including ideas like:

  • Small club support across several committees
  • An expanded learning team to lift all members' Rotary IQs
  • An events committee to bring us together in person

We cannot truly realize all that was dreamt up for us without participation from members like you willing to devote some time and energy to filling many of these roles. The committees were designed to be a many-hands-make-light-work model, so the more people who step up to lead, the easier it will be to get it all done without one person having to wear several hats.

Are you ready to contribute? Don't assume others will step forward. We invite you to be people of action!

Click here to visit our Get Involved page (or use the menu at the top of the page) and see what positions are currently open. Some are opportunities to shadow a leader in their final year so you can be prepared to take on a big role, while many are opportunities to be part of the team without having to take charge of it all just yet.

We want to build a strong bench of people from all across CNY so we can better connect with every club.

Use the contact form on the Get Involved page to tell us which team you are interested in and if there is a specific role you would like to pursue.
