The book club enters its third full year of fascinating, variegated selections. This year we offer 3 books of fiction - James, 100 Years of Solitude, and A Man Called Ove, a biography - Clemente, and two works of nonfiction - Wedding of the Waters and Nomadland.
As in the past two years, when we linked a local field trip to one of our books, this year offers two intriguing possibilities. Wedding of the Waters could be followed up with a field trip to the canal museum or a boat ride on the Erie Canal. Clemente would pair nicely with a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
