The Malta Sunrise Rotary, with support from the GlobalFoundries/Town of Malta Foundation, is bringing community art to the streets with a new public banner project.
In collaboration with the Malta League of Arts, the Rotary received 33 submissions from local artists, selecting 10 standout works to be featured on banners throughout downtown Malta this fall.
Before the banners are installed, the community is invited to a special reception on July 24 at 6 p.m. at the Malta Community Center to celebrate all 33 entries, meet the artists, and see which works were selected.
