Meet Sheila Ostrum\, of Living with Dementia\, a CNY based organiza tion dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources for indivi duals affected by dementia\, and their caregivers.
\n\nSheila Ohstro m is currently the co-founder and president of Living with Dementia CNY www.livingwithdementiacny.or g \; A newly approved non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by dementia through education\, training\, resources\, s upport\, and respite for family caregivers in 7 counties of CNY. Our visio n is to create a community where every individual affected by dementia has the support they need to navigate. She also works for Ichor Clinical who currently has three clinical research studies for people with Alzheimer&rs quo\;s and other types of research. \; Sheila is the previous founder and owner of Senior Home Care Solutions and Dementia Training Solutions pr ior to the acquisition in 2025.

He serves as Nexus Seminary Uganda's Di rector of Resource Development and is the Director of Friends of Nexus\, I nc. (a not-for-profit incorporated in the USA). Dr. Norrix has visited Uga nda and East Africa over 20 times since 2007 to collaborate with Soul Fis hing Ministries and Nexus Seminary. Nexus Seminary is a seminary without w alls taking training to the remotest parts of Uganda/Kenya. Nexus Seminary partners with "Wells of Love" to provide and maintain fresh water sources in rural Uganda. We also partner with local medical clinics (recently pro viding a ultrasound machine for a clinic in Lusanga\, Uganda)\; as well as parish schools\, a credit union\, and multiple other development project s. He has published four resources (the fifth will be printed this fall) in Uganda. The resources are published in English and Luganda\, which is the principle tribal language in Uganda. n us for small group outings to downtown restaurants with a separate sign
up where you choose which restaurant experience you want. This is open to
any members and guests coming in the night before or who live locally and
want to join in - no conference registration required. Each location will
include a CNY Rotary leader (or two)\, plus a mix of fellow members\,
\;so you can make new connections. Each diner will pay for their own meal.
